Lesson 02d: Key Points

The Curves Command

  • The Curves command is ideally suited to reducing contrast - that is, tone down highlights or shine a bit of light into shadows.
  • You can set and edit a number of brightness points, or pinpoint a specific color in an image and make it lighter or darker.
  • The Curves command is available from the Image > Adjustments menu.
