Color cast is a malady in which one color pervades an image to an unrealistic or undesirable degree.
Variations may be Photoshop's most straight-forward color adjustment command.
Variations provides you with an array of thumbnail previews.
Your job is to pick the thumbnail preview that looks better than the Current Pick.
Clicking more of one color is the same as clicking less of the opposite (complementary) color.
The amount of change that occurs when you click can be altered by moving the slider toward Fine or Course.
Click the Highlights radio button to affect only the highlights in an image.
Click the Shadows radio button to affect only the shadows in an image.
On the right you can click for a lighter or darker image.
Click on the Saturation radio button to choose more or less saturation.
Variations can be found in the Images > Adjustments menu.
