Hue/Saturation lets you edits a range of colors independently from or in combination with luminosity values.
The Hue slider lets you send your image right around the 360 degrees of the Photoshop color wheel.
The Saturation slider allows you to mute colors (desaturate) or intensify colors.
The Lightness slider is not commonly used. Luminosity values are best modified through the Levels, Curves or Shadows/Highlights commands.
Hue/Saturation lets you modify specific hues, say only the greens or only the blues.
After you select a color range from the drop-down list, you can click out in the image itself to shift the range of color that will be affected.
Hue/Saturation can be found in the Images > Adjustments menu.
