Adequate Color Contrast
What is color contrast?
Color contrast is a visually distinct difference between two colors which are side-by-side or one on top of the other.
Why care about color contrast?
If there isn't enough contrast between the text and the background, people won't be able to read your content. This is especially true for people who have imperfect eyesight or color blindness.
The Contrast Analyser
This is a tool for checking foreground & background color combinations to determine if they provide good
color visibility. It also can create simulations of certain visual conditions such as color
blindness. Determining "color visibility" is based on the Contrast Ratio algorithm
